The Early Days

A series of paintings first shown at Kweken Co., Orange City Iowa. Each negative painting is shown twice to reveal the "hidden" painting seen on the right which is revealed with all the colors inverted when viewed through a phone. Every image/story contributes to the theme of my first few years post grad, or as I call them, The Early Days.

At First Glance:
the Untold Stories Around Us

A solo art show  first shown at Te Paske Gallery, Orange City Iowa. Over two dozen participants shared their stories via interview which I then recorded verbatim and displayed beside their oil portrait. Each story is hidden behind a door which the viewer must actively open to break the silence depicted in the blank signs.
